>Do you own an Android Smartphone from Xiaomi, HTC, Samsung, or OnePlus?
>If yes, then you must be aware that almost all smartphone manufacturers provide custom ROMs like CyanogenMod, Paranoid Android, MIUI and others with some pre-loaded themes and applications to increase the device's performance.

Literally what it says.

>Buying Xiaomi.
This has been known for a while. They also got busted on sending information through the Chinese government a few years ago.

It's just a broad generalization to install something else than stock chink phones as they are not secure. OnePlus, Samsung and HTC have not had any similar vulnerabilities anyone knows of. It's Xiaomi who is the bad one. Though they probably are added into the Xiaomi mix due to their east Asian decent.

The quoted text does not say those phones are not secure - just that they come with custom software pre-installed.
This will be a big indicator to how important security is for people.
That said, I don't think chinkshit has a large marketshare in the US anyway.
