That is probably very stressful.

>Will be able to get the motion right? What about the emotion?
>What if I mess up at the end?
>Is my face camera-ready?
>Is my body camera-ready?
>Does my body language show confidence? Is confidence the goal here?
>Will people want to watch me more after this?

Which, incidentally, seem to be the same sort of questions that someone will ask themselves before a live presidential debate.

>get up early while my NEET brother is still tucked into his racecar bed

>flexible hours as long as I finish 40 hr/week
>usually in the office by 10 am, at 3-4 pm I hit the gym for 2 hours, then come back for leftover work or shit that has caused my head to hurt
This routine has managed to drag me in an enterprise engineering environment for the last 5 years. I imagine this is more stressful than dealing with actual tech illiterate people because
>engineers
>they think they know shit about IT
>they ask for the most ridiculous shit (see above)
>they think they know more about you and will hardly listen to any of your suggestions until their solutions start failing miserably (again, first point)
I guess with the pay, benefits, and other incentives - anyone will stick through this shit.
Find a better paying job maybe? That's a start.

he said "well paying".

slightly depends on your skill, mostly depends on connections and circumstances like everywhere else
>>
>>56598146
Tons of high paying job in niche but essential tech skills/knowledge.
Look into product life cycle management, anything with a production line will have something to do with it, and very few people are familiar with systems used in this thing. In fact, it was only after I landed the job that I heard about it, and we're also having a hard time finding new people to hire despite all these resumes with 10+ years of experience.

>>56598208
Interesting

There's also collaborative software. Any huge company will have bought one of their own and obviously will want people to maintain, customize, and enhance it.
These two things I've mentioned won't require you to learn anything harder than what a typical code monkey already knows - but specializing in them will give you that extra edge (as well as maybe a higher pay because you are "specialized" in a certain skill set the company needs)
"Specializing" does not mean that you will be stuck in these things, again, as mentioned any code monkey will be able to do this so naturally you will still be exposed to things that can be used in the whole IT field.

Everything I've mentioned is not as interesting as building rockets but they sure as hell pay good, besides, if it's research you're after, then you're shit out of luck unless you're really good at what you want to do. Really, really good.

Is this some salty neckbeard meme?

None of these are stable careers and guaranteed jobs. For some of them you need to be born with specific qualities which are almost impossible to get otherwise(not being an ugly sack of shit, penis size, good physical genes etc) . Not to mention you can't do a lot of them beyond a certain age which is much lower than IT

Vast majority of people who go into any of those just fail and become something else or stay in entry level forever

Sure, once you get in and start working in them they could be less stressful, but you can't get into most of them with just trained skills and a diploma

>>56597288

You just gotta find the right job. If your work is stressing you it's because stupid people create stressful environments.
