>tfw you're considering dropping Arch for Ubuntu in future installs because all the software you wanted in the AUR is easily installed on Ubuntu now
What is this feeling called? It's a bizarre feeling! Anyone else do this?

crossed my mind recently. I might do it

I did this because the platform I develop my product off only has binaries on Ubuntu and a compile on March takes multiple days on armv7h

I know that feel. You've gotten comfy with AUR.

Arch is a very good distro but there are a lot of updates and I am just too lazy.

Hopefully PPAs will solve some of your problem

No distro can

Which software? Let anon compile it for you
>>
>>56587687
Yeah, I've only had to manually compile a few small things. Most people use Ubuntu so it's incredibly easy. Not to mention npm helps a lot too.

Another part of it is not having to install and configure and rice everything. I like Ubuntu's style. Having all the fonts I need and easy to set up terminal...

>Install Ubuntu,Manjaro,Windows, FreeBSD side by side.

>Every single time Ubuntu updates it steamrolls all the other bootloaders.
>Can't boot into shit without restoring from livecd or EFI Shell

Manjaro and FreeBSD can fix their shit when they update their own kernels why does ubuntu have to fuck up so badly.

I mean when I try to clean up unused packages on ubuntu it bricks itself and stops booting.
