How does Apple keep doing this? The CPU industry at large is stagnating and they're STILL, somehow, able to crank out at least 40~50% more performance every year. Optimalization.
Apple has a closed ecosystem, closed graphics api their own designed cpu's. Because of this, they know what their shit looks like and how it works. So they can build around it.

If in some way these phones are able to run android it'll run like shit (not taking in the fact that they're not supposed to run android), because android is not limited to 1 soc manufacturer. This is literally the only advantage apple has, but they fuck it up by making it so terribly closed.

The only manufacturer that ever came close to whatever is doing now is Nokia with their Meego Harmatten stuff, but we know where that is now.
