But im at an utter loss here
I bought a gtx1070. It worked for a bit, now when I boot the PC up this happens
If this doesn't happen, the PC boots, it displays my desktop, then before I can do anything it black screens and the fan goes to 100 percent.
Im completely at a loss to what I can do. The power connectors are in, the hdmi cable is in, the card is in properly, I have no idea what is wrong

Boot in safe mode and see if it still does that, also update bios to V2.50

Your PSU should be fine, but occasionally the PCIE rails fail.

I'd say it's a toss between the PSU or the GPU if you can't boot into safe mode.

AOC. Bought one for my workbench, died within 8 months. Found out later that it had off-brand Chinese capacitors. I had a 1 year warranty when I got it, and I managed to get my money back. Currently using a 13 year old Dell UltraSharp in that setup, running just fine.
