Makes sense to upgrade, nice to see them taking action.
>>
>>56579041
All NASA laptops already come with default Win10 nowadays. They were pretty quick in adapting

8.1 just werks and has less bloat. Maybe when I change my laptop, my current one doesn't support dx12.

Wew, removing all that botnet takes a lot of time.

amazing how windows has such large marketshare from 1 customer.

I find this unusual, this world is so fucked

some suit-wearing politician had to have given the go-ahead for this, now another large section of our servicemen will be compromised

This. Linux doesn't belong in an ayran world.

Better than jewnix. If you use Linux, you're not white.

I find it disturbing we are allowing software developed by corporations to control military systems.

There is no reason why the government shouldn't be using Debian on all of their computers.

So about 2020 for the Army?

End me.

Marines still rocking that Win98 like a champ.

Does it really suit their needs?
>>
>>56579041
But win10 has a fucking keylogger in it. Surely they arent stupid enough to use it.
>>
>>56581297
About that. Has anyone proven non-insider build with it turned on sends anything?
>>
Military has unix systems as well. Windows is put on most computers, though. The standard user doesn't really need anything else.

>>56581297

Military uses it's own network for classified information. The computers aren't tied to the internet.
>>
>>56581264
Their rich. They can afford to have all their software ported to Linux.
>>
>>56581259

The Navy still uses MS-DOS for stuff like inventory management. If it works, why change it?
>>
>>56581297

Military is on separate license. Although Microsoft is stupid, I don't think they are stupid enough to steal classified info off the US Military. Considering they are a USA based company would get fucked hardcore for ever doing something like then. Then again, maybe they can claim the Hillary defense and get away with it.
