I know you guys don't usually respond to support requests but I am fucked right.
In the last few minutes I was looking at porn on my phone (I'm poor) and there was a link a clicked on. I didn't realise it was a Google drive document and my phone was auto-logged into my work drive.
I nearly had a fucking heart attack but I think I'm okay. I just need to know how to delete it. As far as I know it was only shared with me, and not the company so I don't think anybody can see it on the shared drive, and it's not showing on shared drive, just under "shared with me"
I've tried deleting the video but it won't let me. It lets me delete other documents but not this video. I seriously cannot go in to work tomorrow with 50 members of staff pointing and laughing at me. Thankfully it was vanilla porn
Tl:dr Are video documents shared with me viewable to people within the group I'm attached to? And how do I delete the video

You'd have to contact google to delete it which takes weeks, and even if you did your company can still see the logs. Most companies have blacklists on that kind of stuff so the IT guy gets a notification if someone accesses material that they aren't supposed to access on the work accounts. If I were you I'd talk to the IT guy, explain the situation and say it was an honest mistake and pray that he doesn't contact your superiors. If he doesn't want to cooperate well sorry about the job dude...

I don't see why it would take weeks for Google to remove a simple 8 minute video with a whopping 24mb file size. I'm not a complete idiot, I'm aware of the security policy to a certain extent , I'm just worried that senior management have a log of these things even though Google tells me it's entirely private and strictly shared with me.
I'm convinced its not shared now with anyone but me. But again, weeks?

There are workarounds, but if you go through the official google channels it literally takes weeks. They get tens of thousands of requests every day and they are seriously undermanned. If you mark it urgent and it's not really urgent they will just ignore your request... Anyway there are other ways to do it. Post your google account here and I'll see what I can do.
