Anybody here use monitor arm mounts? What are your thoughts? What are the best brands? As is, my monitors sit too high on my desk and I'm always tilting my head upwards.
I like mine, works great. Paid $100 from monoprice.
Holds decently heavy monitors. ~19lbs max. up to 34" wide.

Looks great save for the cable management. I'll check out monoprice, thanks anon.

Are they stable? Do they wobble when you hit your desk?

They actually have a channel integrated for cable managment, i've just been too lazy and I have a lot of other cables i'd need to manage anyway.

They're gas-spring so you can adjust the tension on it, if it's particularly light then yeah, you will get some wobble. But if you tighten it up they are pretty stable, if I really shake my desk, yeah, they will wobble, but normal use they are steady.
I like mounted monitors because it opens up the desk space underneath them
I don't have a cam to take pic but I have two monitors on my desk mounted to the wall, so that I can just roll the whole desk away and use it as a large clean table, while my computer hangs from the wall, monitors hovering over my would-be desk
i'm sort of poor though, my computer desk doubles as a workbench and dining room table
They are great, really give you a nicer look overall.
I have no idea of the different brands, but I would suggest getting one at least.

I have one for one of my work areas. It was a generic one off amazon for ~$60 ish. One of the monitors is actually a 19inch television and it wobbles a bit on the bracket, but the actual monitor on the other arm is solid. Definitely recommend and as others have mentioned the extra desk space is nice.
