Anyone else miss Gingerbread?
I think I'm gonna buy a Nexus S and switch to it, it was comfy.

gingerbread was the shit, it started to go nasty after jellybean with bloatware and no real sense of direction.
I miss non-material design and green-on-black

one of my devices is actually stuck on gingerbread. can't upgrade to anything else. anyway, i haven't used it in months and i decided to fire it up a couple of weeks ago. after updating some software, it's not all that slow. it's actually still rather functional. i'm happy.
ics fucked everything up and it was all downhill from there.
ios doesn't have this problem.

No. Probably because the phone that I used has a TFT resistive touch screen.

You think you do, but you don't
My phone back then took almost 4 minutes to fully boot and stop lagging
I was so put off by it that I went to windows phone for 3 years

Kinda, i only got it thanks to cyanogenmod. Otherwise i would be stuck with Froyo. It wasn't bad but I like Kitkat more. Google can fuck off with Lollipop/Marshmallow/Nougat

No, after jellybean it went to shot

>software rendered UI
that was the only big issue with Android those days.
