while the xduoo x2 isn't bad, it's still twice the price of the x02, even after coupon, it does less, and the battery is worse (though not by a lot). so you're basically paying for build and maybe a more powerful amp? and on oled vs color TFT if you prefer that. but the limitations compared to the x02 are numerous:
-no internal storage. x02 has internal storage + microsd, so overall more space
-no custom eq as of now, might be fixed later but that basically kills it for me
-software is just downright more limited than the x02. the ruizu has some software bugginess and some of the menu/setting systems are a bit counter-intuitive but it can display full color album art, pictures, even (crappy looking) video. it can read text files, it has a calendar and bookmark system, stopwatch, alarm, radio, voice recorder, even software for audio/video conversion.
-the x02 is plastic but it feels very sturdy. I get that metal is better but it makes the x02 super light, so better if you want to strap it to something.

honestly I would give up on DAPs forever if I could get a cheap phone with good software and non-hiss output. plus good battery life. knowing that I have a tiny x02 in my bag at all times that can entertain me for a day at least is quite something.

So not too long ago, I ordered some RC parts. I got my RX-7 bodies and I'm super stoked. I honestly expected the "Lot 2 pieces" to mean that it comes in two pieces, not that you get two bodies. It works out to like a 1/4 the price of my local RC shop and the bodies are much higher quality. I'm waiting until I get my new wheels and mount the suspension to mount the body but it does fit nicely.

I also got my keyset that I ordered from... gearbest? Banggood? I don't remember, it was $10 though. It arrived missing a key (numlock) but since I'm putting it on a 60%, I don't mind at all. That's not going to stop me from complaining to them though. They are double-shot ABS, cherry mx stem compatible, and support backlighting. They are very low quality (and not to mention that horrendous font!) but they should work perfectly fine until I decide on what keycaps to settle with. It's pretty cool because it's an ANSI set but it also comes with an ISO enter and \| key.
