You have to wait for the animation to finish every time you scroll instead of scrolling instantly. You scroll frequently when web browsing so this is extremely annoying.

on the other hand your eyes can easily follow where you scroll to. Try reading long blocks of text with jump-scrolling: you constantly have to-orient to where the lines shifted
