Does /g/ think a 1080ti will be able to run a games at 1080p in 144hz? And won't a i5 4690 bottleneck it?
>>56529513
Yes, even my 290X does most games at 144Hz.
And yes, even my OCed 5820K is the bottleneck more often than my GPU.
Using WQHD 144Hz though, so your GPU requirements would be lower.

>Yes, even my 290X does most games at 144Hz
No it doesn't, you fucking retard. A 290X isn't getting anywhere close to 144fps outside of stuff like CS;GO.
>>56529513
We already have Titan Pascal. Go look at the benchmarks for that. The answer is no, not even close if you're talking AAA gaymes like The Witcher 3.
>>56529534
OH, and I meant hitting 144 at ultra settings.
Hm. I'm currently running r9 390 and I am nowhere near hitting 144in literally any game.
You think it might be my cpu?
Literally only game where I'm getting 144 is doom with dx 12.

Fucking kill yourself basement dweller.
Crawl back to your shithole immediately >>>/v/
>>56529556
Fucking hell. S basically buying 144hz monitor three years ago was retarded waste of money. >>56529560
And man, I'm not making enough money yet to buy me a Titan without getting it on credit card. It's like half of my monthly wage where I live.
>>56529556
>implying you don't have to turn off CPU heavy stuff like shadows by default in most games to get them to run above 100 FPS
>>56529513
the 1080 already can. i have an i5-4460 and gtx 1080 with a 1440p 144hz monitor and the i5 does bottleneck in a few games but not bad.
My 1070 runs games at 144Hz
>>56529560
>I meant hitting 144 at ultra settings
That's retarded. You either pick graphical fidelity or fluency and responsiveness.
While you may have both both in old or low spec games, they're contradictory design goals. The better the graphics you want, the slower the rendering becomes.
