I don't use FB so I don't know what kind of news they feature but surely it is all pink/yellow type news and not serious current affairs/politics. Otherwise Clinton would be leading the polls by a large margin.

Not really much worse than getting news from 4chan or Reddit. As long as you check that the source is credible, you can often get access to some useful information that might not be reported on say, CNN.
