have an i5 4460 so no HT
Might be able to swap my cpu for an i7 from my uni soon.

Tried. Kept crashing trying to install drivers. Also system files corrupted out the box on several pc's I installed it. Media made with official tool.

Weirdly sometimes it's snappier than 7 or 10. Sometimes it takes forever to start simple programs or browse images.

Over 10% boost in certain apps.
Others none.

But with 3D modeling and rendering that 10% which is there in c4d for example is a massive help.

Games get a negligible but measurable performance boost too.
