Except that's bullshit. We already know that it uses a Polaris 10 GPU with 36 compute units, identical to the RX 480. No GCN 1.1 GPU with 36 CUs exists, and the idea that AMD went back to design a whole new GPU based on old tech when they have a new one with the exact same specs ready to go is asinine. Not to mention that a GCN 1.1 GPU with 36 CUs wouldn't even come close to the type of performance the PS4 Pro has. The 7970 has 32 CUs and is way off. Another 4 wouldn't help at all. Whereas the 4.2TFs of performance that Sony have confirmed matches perfectly with an unclocked RX 480, i.e. what it actually fucking is.

No "we" don't. It would be ridiculous to state as much, even more so ridiculous to assume a video game blog aimed at 13 year olds and /v/irgins would have any real technical knowledge whatsoever. AMD's GPUs are modular, graphics IP, PowerTune, UVD, VCE, front end including geometry processor and ACEs, back end, etc. They can pick and choose whatever they want when they build a part. The Xbox One and PS4 APUs contained PowerTune IP not present in any consumer parts until Beema launched.
Its likely the exact same scenario this time around with the Pro and Scorpio. They're each utilizing varying IP levels, not directly comparable to any currently available discrete cards.

If Sony goes with Nvidia on the PS5, there won't be any need for PC gayming anymore.

Nvidia has shown that they can stuff a GTX1070/GTX1080 into a notebook, and only losing out a few percentages of performance.
