Recently got my self pic related for 30€ Its the x61s, 2gb ram, I have swapped the original harddrive with an ssd and installed the bios fix for dull sata II support. Currently running ubuntu minimal with i3 as wm and qutebrowser for shitposting. Did I do good?

good. I have a x61t (same cpu options and shit, just a fancy spinny tablet thing) and it is comfy af. I have 4gb of ram and the high end cpu though.

You can buy a Broadwell motherboard/CPU upgrade for it from China, but you'll want the slim cooler option because you got the s model.
