Had to repair the hinge, all I did was unclip the cable from the board and when i put it back it wasn't working.
Pulled if off again and saw one of the pins were broken.

I would say that it is easiest to just buy a new MOBO, but if you are REALLY good at soldering, you might try reattaching them or something else that conducts electricity.

yes you can replace the connector but has it requires some micro soldering prepare yourself to be jewd.
Installing gentoo will help.
