/g/ Thought's on computer and peripheral LED's.

I dislike them personally as I find them tacky.
>>
i think they are cool for showing off
like a lanparty build

It's for manchildren, same goes for fans.
A PC should have 3 fans: cpu, gpu, psu.
All these new cases with a billion fans make me rage, I'm stuck with my sleeper build because of this.
LEDs are optional at least.

Maybe if you're poor and have a shitty computer.
Some of us do real work and need decent airflow.

Like most things, they are fine in moderation. Just don't go overboard and cover your case in LED strips.
>>
>>56449869

Only useful when they can be turned off. Maybe once a month I could use an LED or two in the right place so I cab see what's going on, either in my rig or nearby.

> tacky

Good word for it. Not strong enough, but tasteless as a 90-year old woman's wall of pink glass piggy collection.

Or, in this case: >>56449910

Just flat out nigger tier.

Don't like LEDs at all.
Maybe an LED strip to top-down the interior, but otherwise I never take my panel off unless it's for upgrades.
I even have a custom loop, but it's for function.
>>
some people are painfully dull...they want macs and apple shit. Sterile and clean. Lifeless. Antiseptic even.

some people are not...hence LED.
