You have 10 seconds to explain why you don't think Arch/KDE isn't the best GNU

Arch a shit. Can't for the life of me understand why weebs love it so much.
Arch/gnome user here
have used KDE since its first alpha but got jaded sometime in the 2000s

Discarded
Because Slackware/KDE is better.

Triggered weeb.

Why do all the plebbit spills make themselves so much obvious?
>>56436400
>Seriously thinks line spacing comes from plebbit when I've been here since ADTRW days
>>56436269
It is the best.

Arch is for those lacking the grey matter to install a real distribution. Enjoy your false minimalism and software anarchy.
>>56436611
Like what?
Don't say Debian because you're full of shit.
>>56436269
Because over time Arch installs degrade until they're useless. You spend more time fixing it than you do using it.
It is inherently unstable, and all attempts (like Manjaro) of making it a stable operating system introduce more problems than they do solutions.
>KDE
Opinion discarded. I've never in my life been more miserable than trying to use KDE. Nothing fucking works the way it's supposed to.
Fucking volume is borked. VOLUME CONTROL. that's a major thing and it's even a mildly popular bug in the bug tracker and has been there for a while. I tried to give it a chance, I really did.
I installed MATE GTK3 with compiz and everything just werks. No weird QT GTK glitches. No bugs. Looks cleaned and runs better. Caja has come a long way.
Fucking hell. KDE devs need to get their heads out of their asses.
>>56436623
What is it with Archfags and Debian? Did the Debian staff take away your tendies or something?
>>56436269
because KDE looks like shit
Arch + GNOME master race
>>56436638
>It is inherently unstable
Um, kek no, it's more likely user error
>>56436623
Memeing aside gentoo is a much better distribution.
>>56436660
They took all their SJW devs

And arch's devs are weebs

I can't stand what a headache their repository system is. I like Debian for what it is. But I found getting packages I needed was always a pain in in the ass because some are in unstable, testing, or only stable. And at first I thought "Oh it's probably just a few" but I kept running into this constantly and constantly. I couldn't get apt pinning to work, and when I asked about it on here suddenly all the people praising Debian were silent.
I think the WORST part was when I upgraded to unstable to get a few packages I needed missing from unstable, yet the package I needed had been removed that day, and then another package had no installation candidates despite being listed in unstable.
Arch for me has been the most user friendly distro I've used after install. As long as I take care to watch for outdated dependencies (and even then it's not a big deal) I haven't had any serious issues so far. I like Debian but I think you're better off with an Ubuntu distro or just going to Manjaro testing if you're worried about outdated packages. But arch has been the only distro that "just werks" for me
>>56436684
I like gentoo but it really doesn't offer me anything I don't get from arch that I need.
>>56436269
Because I use GNU/Windows or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, Windows plus GNU applications.

Manpages are shit. Reading Wiki is more efficient

There is NO reason why one should delete systemd from his system. There is nothing systemd can't do what other init systems can.

Neither is linux

So what packages did YOU make yesterday?
>>56436874
Oh that's another thing, Arch install could be 100% automated with a bonzaibuddy gooey but faggots would leave in droves if they couldn't copy paste instructions from the Wiki into a command prompt to get that false sense of self-importance
