/g/ i fucked up.
Last year i spilt tea all over my laptop (cream and sugar mind you) and i wanna fix it. My keyboard and mouse don't work and i'm thinking of getting replacement parts. Thing is, i don't know whether its my connectors or the keyboard/mouse that that don't work. Judging by the picture of the keyboard connector, is the connector the issue? I don't want to spend money on a keyboard if i didn't need to.
Brand: lenovo E540

No fixin this mate, ur a faget 4 lif
Last year? Why wait until now, it's probably a piece of crap anyways. And yeah, just get a fucking USB keyboard, otherwise the only thing I can suggest is if you have another laptop switch out keyboards? Most mine all have the same ribbon, it will tell you if it's the keyboard or mobo/connector

I had something similar happen with my E530 where I spilt tea on the keyboard and later on started having issues with it. When I disconnected it, the shitty connector on the motherboard stopped locking down properly, and I'm pretty sure the contacts on the cable had corroded.
I'd try just applying plenty of pressure to the connector to see if that gives a more stable connection.

>Paying $50 for a replacement keyboard when you can pay twice that and get a T420 or any other laptop that isn't a piece of shit lelnovo
