Oh look, it's this furfag again with his same thread as from yesterday.
>>
>>56430467
There's only two commonly supported forms of in-browser 3D, and WebGL is faster than even plugin alternatives like Unity.
>>

Stop making fun of furries, they have done nothing wrong

What if I told you it had been over a week, and you're starting to lose track of time as you age and settle into a dull lifestyle?

Modern OpenGL is pretty similar to WebGL, now, besides a few commands and binding styles. Here's a MEGA GL overview for you to get the basics. You can google the commands needed to transport the data between buffers in webgl.

>no decent documentation for WebGL

If you're writing your own rendering library there's no reason you should have transferable knowledge from OpenGL to start with; if you don't, you shouldn't be bothering with "WebGL tutorials" or using WebGL itself at all.

>all WebGL engines or codebases include more than just bare minimum functionality

three.js is as bare as a rendering library should be without going suckless style full autism.

Adding some further GL docs, because why not.

sometimes, you just want to map a dickpic image you loaded from the desktop as a texture texture over a ripped halo model

Procedural dick looks better IMO.

Inigo Quilez would be proud.

I heard that there were rectennas that could make energy from thermal radiation.
Is the ultimate power generator a fursuit where the fur is actually very fine antennae?

Fuck off furfag
>>
>>56433390
It's not that I can't learn it, it's that it's horribly slow.
Think of it like correcting for errors in transmission:
You need two streams of identical information to know when there's an error, and three to correct errors.

I have to use three tutorials simultaneously to learn WebGL and it's fucking annoying.

Furries weren't around when hitler was alive. But he would definitely gas them all if they were.

furries are cool
>>
>>56430641
On that note, can you recommend any beginner's resources for someone interested in making procedural textures for fun? Is that something I would do with GLSL?
