What is the best way you've found to circumvent Fortiguard

What is the best way you've found to circumvent Fortiguard in college wifi? Mostly I'm asking how the easiest way is to torrent through it, but I am also wondering how to do this for my browser. Can anyone give me the rundown on how to use Ultrasurf? Is it worth using or are there better alternatives? And I can't figure out how to configure UTorrent to use proxy without an Authentication. What are some good sites for free proxy servers in Socks 5 and HTTP?
I feel like I am being unclear but I hope someone understands, thanks /g/.

Not quite sure if this is what you want but a simple solution would be a VPN. Get PIA for $3/month and the firewall and cache won't know what's going through it because it encrypts traffic. This is affective for all your computer traffic. PIA is also logless so you won't get cease and desist letters.
