Which sites should I have a secure unique password for and on which ones can I use the same password?

The ones you care about.
The ones you don't care about.
Assume that same password is public, because that is exactly what will happen if one of those websites gets hacked and was too retarded to hash their passwords. Assume anyone can log into one of your accounts with that password at any time. Do you care? If yes, choose a unique password instead.

This
Same password for forums where you need to register for dumb shit, like needrom, unique password for anything important
>>56402862
why would you reuse a password if you can save it and don't have to remember it?
>>56402862
unique password for every login

>Which sites should I have a secure unique password for
All of them.
>>56402862
I use a different password for anything that
a) has my real name/address
b) has payments details
c) is a point of failure between other services (such as email accounts)
for anything else i use the same password or a slightly modified version of the same password, mostly this is forums and such which i dont really give a shit about.
having said that my passwords are still 16+ characters so pretty hard to crack compared to most passwords. the biggest concern is reusing them between different services.

This, if you use something like KeePass there's no point in having the same password on anything
The real question OP, is which passwords should you memorize
>>56404641
Only your master password?
>>56402862
I always use a unique password.
But for some sites I don't bother putting it in my keepass, I just leave it in my browsers stored password and if I have to re-install my computer I'll just reset it or create a whole new account.

But then I have to enter my 55 character master password every time I need to login to anywhere.

No, learn to use password managers.
They let you change the frequency/conditions for the master password.

How does it work?
