Other than lacking the case room, why would anyone actually bother with those all in one water coolers?

Better aesthetics. I bet you don't participate in guts threads.

thats about it really...

AIOs are usually a lot easier to install

big air coolers are absolutely not quieter unless you reduce the fan speed resulting in higher temps

source: I own a nh-d14 and have replaced the fans with a single pwm fan because of how fucking loud the nh-d14 is even with the resistance cables

>>56397610
>>no worry about leaking

no, you just have to worry when handling and moving the case as big air heatsinks can damage the motherboard or cpu which is why they all state in the manuals to remove the heatsink when transporting a built pc

never mind that they're big and fucking awkward and can block access to the pci locking pins, prevent ram from being removed or installed, make it awkward to build around (needing to connect the cpu power cables before installing heatsinks) etc that make them awful to work with
>>
Quite possibly the ugliest cooler ever. If you don't have a windowed case then sure otherwise fuck no. I'd rather my CPU go up in flames.

Space.

Talk about overengineered

more fans = less rpm you have to run them at to maintain current temps
