The guy is running for president while proudly proclaiming to everyone that he's not a politician.

It's questionable whether he's even rich because he's had to sue people for claiming otherwise and then couldn't produce any documents to prove his wealth.

His "university" failed spectacularly and he's being sued for it.

He ran a casino that went bankrupt. A casino is a business that takes your money and gives you credit which you use for the slim chance of winning slightly more money than you paid. It's a business that by design should almost always be running in the black.

His own statements frequently highlight how little he understands.

Gary Johnson is still by far the best candidate in this election cycle, and not just because Drumpf is a disaster and Clinton is a corrupt joke. Even against great candidates, Johnson would still be a strong contender. He and his running mate are both former governors with proven track records.

The youngest a President can be is 35. Which isn't that old, but not really young. Still, seeing someone tech literate in the White House would be nice.
>>
>>56391844
There's a minimum age requirement of 35 so there's no chance for anyone younger than that.

JFK was probably the closest thing to a young tech savvy president and he did create NASA which created hundreds if not thousands of spinoff technologies.

There's also the issue of popularity. If a politician is not popular they don't stand much of a chance of winning their primary let alone the general election. So a lot of presidents are former congressmen, state representatives, former governors, or they have an extensive military background.
>>
>>56391969
35 means someone born in 1981 thats actually the perfect age.

Since anyone born in 2000 has no idea how actually computers work they've all been simplified beyond recognition.

Someone born in 1981 say got his first computer in 1989 or 1990 there was still considerable more knowledge required to actually use one.

I'm personally a 1989 person and I ran DOS with NC all the way to Win10. I learned by far the most about technology in the 90 early 00 when things where still difficult.

Today you google your problems and it's easy as shit. Back then you actually had to find the problem and fix it yourself.

>>56392033
There's more to a nation than computers.
>>
>>56392052
Well American presidencies in the last 20 yeas ahve always been more about Flash then about substance.

Boring and dull is okay.

Problem with this pick a leader bullshit democracy is it's all about MUH FEELS

What you'd need for a competent democracy is people to take a test to confirm they're not dumb and can actually read economic and politcal plans.

Then after that every political side publishes it's plans and people read them...

Then they decide who to vote for.

Not voting for Hillary because she supports the gays but just 10 years ago she didn't or voting on trump because he wants to deport Mexicans yet Obama probably deported more then Trump will.
>>
>>56392033
>Since anyone born in 2000 has no idea how actually computers work they've all been simplified beyond recognition.

I can say the exact same thing about people born in the 80s, guy. Bunch of long-haired manchildren who never built their own CPU from scratch have no purpose making tech policy.

In fact, unless you worked on the team who designed Zen or Skylake, you have no right to even use them, fucking idiots who don't even know tech.

And while we're at it, unless you have produced and directed a major hollywood blockbuster, you have no right to even have an opinion on what a good movie is

Now shut up and get over yourself. Tech always has abstraction layers, that's what specialization is for. Nobody knows the entire stack on their own and you're deluded if you think you do.
>>
>>56392114

The word "appearance" means more than just physical looks and you know it and are either just trolling or a shill, you moron.
>>
>>56392114
Not anymore really. In 20 years your cars your trucks your planes will all be autopilot.

Here http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2016/09/01/walmart-jobs/89716862/

Walmart to cut 7,000 back-office accounting, invoicing jobs

This could have been done 10 years ago but have a comments here.

This is what I do for a living, replace people with automation for a fortune 100 company. Here's what is really happening.

You wouldn't believe the amount of fraud, waste, and abuse happening right now. I automated logins for a department that used to use a physical punch clock to use Windows login and screen idle times. Last year, they paid out near 500k in overtime. This year, 9k, and zero complaints of inaccuracy.

Another division was getting service requests into an shared email box. 11 people were being paid to take the emails and copy paste them into a ticketing system. They were replaced with a macro that took me less than a day.

A fancy monitoring division outsourced alert validation to a cheaper offshore division a few years ago. 37 people were employed to get an alert in one application, search the alerting device in another application and either close the ticket or escalate. They were replaced with a fancy macro and a database.

I really don't feel bad replacing someone if their skillset consists of comparing a number and clicking a button, or copy and pasting text. You need to up your skills. Get a certification or something.

Here's the deal. Automation doesn't do everything. But the standard is 1 to 10. If 10 people are doing manual tasks now, automation will do 90% of it and give a dashboard to 1 person to handle anomalies.

Expect this. Get yourself trained and certified. I'm getting calls from recruiters and direct hire companies almost daily since I updated my resume with automation about 2 years ago.

Clinton's the only one likely to cause world war. More likely, though, is that she'll order direct engagements with Russia in Syria (rather than the current proxy nonsense). Jets will be shot down, positions will be shelled, tensions will be at breaking point for a while, but no wider conflict.

>You cannot hold residents of other nations in your country in forced work camps.
Where does it say you can't?
If you break a law in Russia for example, you sure as fuck going to cut these trees in Siberian tundra. No matter you citizenship.

>illegals who are deported today are barred from immigrating legally under most cases
They are illegals, they will just come back illegally. That's no punishment at all. Punishment is restriction of freedom and forced labor.

>It's more of a personal belief

The US gets 1,700,000 legal migrants per year at current rates. Is this sustainable?
>>
>>56393012
Not true. The founding fathers believed in a concept known as "inalienable rights", the rights of any man on earth. These are rights given to you by your "creator" and cannot be taken away by anyone without reason. The bill of rights is listing of these rights, the states of the time were worried that if they were not explicitly protected then a future government could interfere with them so they were written down. The bill of rights doesn't give you your rights it protects them from being taken away. Illegals have the same rights that was the intent behind the bill of rights.
>>
>>56393114
Inalienable for Americans, yeah. You aren't going to win this because the founding fathers had niggers bonded to them -- where were their inalienable rights.

Just keep the fucking illegals out and make sure it's easy to get rid of the ones already there.
>>
>>56393110
Yes, how is it not? We have an abundance of almost everything.
>>56393082
Or we could just make immigration easier so we can save that money and use it for a better cause
>>
>>56393081
>How is wanting immigration to be easier being a cuck?
You are willingly trading the future of your children for the future of Pedro's children.
That's pretty much one of the definitions of being a cuckold. Why don't you just take a shortcut and invite Pedro to fuck your girlfriend.
>>
>>56393177
I raised my kids to be hard working people, if they cannot compete with Pedro's kids than they deserve the low paying, hard jobs they get.

If you set them up for an easy life, they will always fail. Pedro's children have the same right to the jobs we do, we just have to prove we are better than them.

And in sharing that abundance like a great virtue-signaler you are, you end up losing that abundance. Half the population of the world is Portable Third World Generators.

>Or we could just make immigration easier so we can save that money and use it for a better cause
"Making immigration easier" means lowering the barrier for entry. What barriers can be lowered? Why should an illiterate person be allowed in? Why should an unskilled person be allowed in? Why should Juan the Criminal or Mahmoud the Former Jihadi be allowed in?

They're inalienable for anyone within the US jurisdiction. If they're not then explain how Guantanamo is necessary.

There were founders who owned slaves you're correct but slavery was ultimately abolished(aside from punishment for crimes).
>>
>>56393244
>If you are going to be racist just admit it.

I'm a Jew, so I'm racist by definition. I view everyone else as an animal.

And that's why we always succeed. We don't let anyone take what's our. Even if we happen to have a dumb useless child, we jump the hoops and make everyone around him fail so he looks smart.

You will never understand that and you will go extinct. Just like the Romans before you and Egyptians before them and Babylonians before them. And we will just move on and prosper for another 5000 years.

Building a wall is not racist. The racist part is how Trump wanted to deport millions of people and how infeasible it is to do that without some kind of bias/profiling. I think he's trying to rethink his original proposal now and he's just talking about people who have a criminal record who are also illegal.

I don't think it says "the illegals of the United States."

>>56393114
You have to be an actual citizen to have those inalienable rights. Breaking the law to get in does NOT mean you are magically now a citizen. You're a fucking retard who can't even build a wobbly strawman. That's the dumbest attempted leap of logic I've seen in a while.
>>
>>56393484
>its racist to send illegal immigrants back to the country they came from
Explain
>>
>>56393758
Explain how you intend to single out the "undocumented immigrants" from the documented ones. The only way I can see it working violates the constitutional rights of everyone. You'd have to go to every person and ask for their papers which is a violation of the fourth amendment and they don't even have to comply with your orders because it's unlawful and because they have a fifth amendment right against self-incrimination.

The constitution applies to anyone currently residing within the jurisdiction of the US. It doesn't matter whether they're citizens.
>>
>>56393893
Also note I did say it violates the constitutional rights of *everyone* not just illegals. Mexicans immigrants who who have "papers" will likely be stopped just the same because there's no easy way to tell who is legal or not.
>>
>>56393916

>>
>>56394204
That was unconstitutional and even if it wasn't I don't think you'd get much support by campaigning on a platform like that, a lot of people find that to be shameful. Trump's platform doesn't even go that far and he's offended people in his own party.

>>56394218

OK, so now we have "person," "citizen," "illegal," "naturalized", and "resident" at least. Let's take a step back and make sure we know what these mean before throwing around more quotes.

I'll let you take the first swing at it, since you seem to be trying to make some sort of a point.

Johnson is the weakest LP candidate. Rand or McAfee would've been a better choice maybe even Petersen. He's a fool in a suit. Now he's going to ruin the LP by attracting the ultra radical regressive leftists to the party.
>>
>>56394564
You wont convince anyone outside of stormfront that illegal immigrants aren't people, the intent behind that phrasing is pretty obvious.
>>
>>56394580

>Rand

>McAfee
Literally a nutcase.

>Petersen
Literally who. Not even close to the proven track record of Johnson and Weld.
>>
>>56394338
Document checking is not violation of any rights.

In the real world a cop may handcuff you and search you, including inside your ass if he has a probable cause, like he thought that he smelled weed from your general direction. And beat your ass into the ground if you as much as try resisting.

And all of that is perfectly constitutional and legal.
>>
>>56394676

I'm not implying anything. I just want to make sure that we all know what these words mean before arguing about them.

It's standard practice when it comes to law. Pick a law dictionary or something if you don't have your own definitions you'd like to proffer.
>>
>>56394801
Stopping a person if you have a credible belief that they have committed a crime is not illegal. Stopping someone just to check their documents is illegal however.

I doubt most cops want to stop and check everyone and open themselves up accusations of unfair treatment or harassment.
>>
and people 10 years younger than you think that you're the out of touch retard who knows nothing about technology.
>>
>>56394940
First, there is no such thing in the constitution.

Second, there is a credible belief that every 3rd spic in US is an illegal criminal. Which makes checking everyone looking remotely like a spic perfectly legal even in your imaginary land.
>>
>>56395040
As a citizen they can ask you to stop and ask you for your information but they're no more justified in doing that then anyone else is. If you haven't been detained for a crime then you do not have to even acknowledge them.

I'd say you should probably comply with an order to stop though.
>>
>>56394789
>Johnson
