how do i make insects stop crawling all over my screen at night
the screen is already at lowest brightness
pls help me protect my technology from creepy crawlies
sometimes moths are buzzign around and crashing iinto it and stuff and leaving their toxic moth dust behind and i have to run outside
For most insects, I'd say an electric fly swatter. For moths... literally just open the door and put them outside. There is nothing advantageous to them in your house. The majority of moths die within a week of hatching because they are incapable of eating. They just want to find another moth and have lots of sex.

So "other moths" == "bright light" and "lots of sex" == "being burned slowly until dehydration and death"?

Well all moths are attracted to light so would it be such a stretch that a male and female got attracted to the same light?

That's... a different matter, and it's not just a problem with moths. Flies and beetles are also attracted to bright lights. There's a few theories out there, one of the major ones being that it fucks with their navigation systems. There is at least one theory though, that moths mistake infrared light from flames to the infrared light given off from female moth pheromones.
