What is /g/'s favorite browser, taking into consideration speed, features, and privacy?
>>56382206
Chrome is the official browser of /g/
>>56382206
Chromium.
Great gif, btw.
>>56382206
Firefox. It's a bit slower than the rest but it excels in the other areas.
Firefox
>speed
sucks
>features
IT HAS NOSCRIPT 10/10 BEST BROWSER EVER
>privacy
eh
>>56382222
But what about the privacy issues, or is that no longer a thing?
>>56382226
How much of a bitch is that to build in Windows, because IIRC, they don't provide packages. Are there any features Chrome proper has that Chromium lacks?
>>56382243
>noscript
>not umatrix
ayy lmao
>>56382313
What is the difference?
>>56382247
He's memeing
For privacy, you should go with Firefox, search around for how to configure it for more privacy
Speed not guaranteed, but chrome doesn't have it either anyway
For features it's also the best because of the superior add-on system
If you really want both privacy and chrome, try Iridium, it's supposed to be debotnetted chromium, but there were reports of it phoning home so beware
>>56382360
They both make websites unusable, but make some people feel safer
>>56382313
>umatrix
>spend 40 minutes trying to find a way to block what you want and allow what you don't because it's buggy as fuck and will let things through it shouldn't and block things it shouldn't
>still fucking fails
>noscript
>spend 10 seconds clicking a few obvious sites
>works
uMatrix isn't a replacement for NoScript. It's shit.
>>56382362
>He's memeing
But I'm not, anon.
>>56382411
>Chrome is the official browser of /g/
>not memeing
Don't listen to the shills. It's still Firefox.
>>56382362
I've been using Firefox since Netscape, I've just been meaning to ask for /g/'s opinion.
>>56382621
Then why is Chrome's usage share so much higher than Firefox on desktops?
>>56382642
Same reason McDonalds and Wal*Mart is popular. Dumbed down shit for stupid people.
>>56382362
>firefox
have you found your password txt file yet?
>>56382654
This just in: Speed, stability, features, and compatibility is "dumbed down."
>>56382817
>this just in: botnets are for smart people
I'm sick of you goddamn dumb children. Please, everyone under 30 go die in a goddamn fire. The world will be infinitely improved by your deaths.
