What's the most privacy-conscious browser around?

I know RMS gave Ganoo Icecat the papal blessing for being free, but does that mean it's actually private?

If you were to display your true Tinfoil Power Level, but still connect to the internet with a GUI, what would you use?

Seamonkey is the sweet spot between paranoia and botnet cuckoldry

Anything that doesn't run JS should fine
If you're worried about other tracking (eg, 1x1 GIFs) use something like wget and view the downloaded HTML, or just turn off automatic downloading off all resources other than the page you requested

Dooble is the FOSS browser most explicitly focused on privacy, but you have to configure it properly.

Firefox in always private mode with all the main privacy extensions should suffice

(if I am wrong please explain why since I want to know)

one thing is using software that doesn't subjugate your freedoms and a whole different thing is having "privacy" on the internet

The most privacy conscious web-browser by far would be a hardened firefox

Here's a list of pointers:
>μBlock0 (basically just block as much as possible)
>μMatrix (deny everything by default, only add what you need)
>Decentraleyes
>HTTPS Everywhere

Also, see miscellaneous firefox hardening guides that will guide you through the process of removing all of the botnet and also hardening stuff like JavaShit and TLS.

(https://gist.github.com/haasn/69e19fc2fe0e25f3cff5 is a bit dated but still a solid introduction)

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
