Get a naze32 flight controller and flash it with beta flight. set your receiver to ppm mode if it supports it. ppm will allow you to only have 1 cable running from the receiver.

I wouldn't say the props are a problem. QAV flys nice with those. But the locking nuts are a must and fuck not using ppm

Anything 210/250 size frame will fly nice with 5030s, you just won't get anywhere near as much power as your common 22mm motors and 20A+ ESCs setups are capable of. Fine for cruising maybe, but as soon as you want to start having some acro fun you're gonna want to switch to 5040 bullnose at least.
