I would run prime95 for an hour and furmark for 15 minutes

they can't damage your system due to thermal safety mechanisms but you should be checking your temps the whole time to make sure you are within a reasonable limit

80°C isn't too hot for a GPU or CPU, most won't throttle until 95 to 105°C.
