i only have one window manager installed OP--its i3 and its pretty good. i used openbox before that; it was good as well. both of them have things to recommend them! let me turn the question backa round on you: whats your favourite anime?

Recommend me a Window Manager that's pretty much a copy of i3 (controls and configuration wise) but is stacking instead of tiling

Theres some tools for the configuration like obconf and even lxde's appearance setting manager lxAppearance, since it uses openbox.
