I'm looking to build a custom input device (a couple of rotary encoders and maybe a few buttons) but I was wondering what the best way to go about doing that would be?

I've written a few character device drivers for linux in C before, but nothing fancy. Is there a particular development board that meets my needs? Has anyone else here done something similar before?

Working on a new build and I was wondering about overclocked ddr4. Is it possible to do with a non-k CPU? I know the main factor is the mobo, which has to support OC RAM xmp profiles. The info I've found says that only the CPU cores are locked, not the memory controller, so it's possible, but stability is not guaranteed. So, is it possible to use OC RAM with non-k cpus?

So after almost 3 weeks of jerking me around I FINALLY secured a refund from this dickhead on ebay who refused to ship my order and kept coming up with excuses/promises to ship in a few days and then ignoring me for over a week again. (Funny enough he responded pretty damn fast as soon as I was able to put it up on the resolution center though.) Paid for the order with a credit card on PayPal, so should I look for the refund on my credit card statement or on PayPal?

Are braided headphone cables more resistant to the occasional chair-caster-rollover than rubber-coated ones? Hella paranoid about it ever since my last cable started getting audio cutting in and out and I had to replace it. (Thankfully my headphones actually do have a detachable cable so it was an easy fix.)

Last night my computer stopped booting up properly after I opened my case. Its really ficking werid thoug, my OS drive isnt showing up in the boot order selection as well as my download drive is not showing up either, but when I select the boot menu they are both listed, although they dont work.

I tried sticking it on a usb enclosure and it still wouldnt boot and showed up the same, but when I used a different computer it started booting into windows fine.

I was wondering if this bullshit means my SATA controler on my motherboard shit the bed?

I ordered an SSD today because I want to upgrade my MacBook Pro.
I have an external Time Machine drive and will need to reinstall OS X. If I put the unformatted SSD into the laptop, would it be possible to boot into recovery from the Time Machine drive in order to restore my system? Or should I do a clean install of OS X from a flash drive and then selectively restore data?
I mostly just want to preserve my settings and applications, all larger media is on my server.

One, how do I go on about repeating adding an item into a sharepoint list through C# WFA?

Second, how do I make a datagridview display another SHarepoint view? I.E rather than show the default one (All items), I want the list to switch to another, filtered view.

I cannot find much info online and I'm too stupid to use the little I can to implement it properly despite trying for ages.
