I have an interview coming up for an at-home GeekSquad position. Anything I need to know? Have you ever worked an at-home support position? Have you ever worked for GeekSquad?
It's 99% a sales job and 1% technical.
Former bestbuyfag reporting in.
>>56339975 is completely correct, as long as you at least appear to be technically competent to fool the average consumer you're golden.
You're there to upsell and bullshit dumb people into thinking they need X or Y feature

If it's largely sales-based, is there an annoying quota to fill each week?
What would you be doing for an at-home position?
>>56341920
Yes. For each product that idiots buy there is a manufacturer warranty and then there is a seperate geek squad warranty.
It's your job to sell that seperate warranty or you're laid off.
>>56341955
How difficult is it to hit?

This is the listing

About 1 in every 12 people will buy the warranty I think. I don't actually know as I was an android rep in store but I had friends that were geek squad plus I was required to take the geek squad training as well.

oh man I wish I lived in the US. Low tech jobs here are "sit in a small room full of niggers 20 hours a day" shit.

Former firedogfag in-home was shitty especially when the customer's house was a shit hole.
You could easily just get a job as a help desk and be better off. Plus with those requirements are pretty high for that kind of work.
