What's the best file manager with network share support for Android? I tried Total Commander and can't seem to find any way to copy files over network shares. I also tried File Commander but it has a huge fucking advert to 'upgrade' to the paid version.

Give into the chinese botnet and use ES File Explorer
>>56337162
Yeah I was using that but heard bad shit about it so uninstalled.
>>56337202
try FX File Manager and just "File Manager (File transfer)"
>>56336990
I use MiXplorer (it's not on the playstore, but you can find it on XDA)
Solid Explorer has it?
Not sure
>>56337354
nope
Isn't there anything like ES but without oy being botnet?
>>56337375
yes, archived versions of it
>>56337354
>>56337366
Solid Explorer supports smb(Windows shares),FTP,sftp and there is a Plugin for it that allows you to USS your phone as FTP Server
>>56337411
and wtf else does OP wants?

I had ES but after it did shit like replacing my homescreen, constantly reminding me to download an app optimizer amongst other shit, I decided to move on. First pick was FX File Manager, but that's an ad filled piece of shit, which doesn't let you open hidden folders (.foldername) unless you go premium. That said, you can still access those through the search, but the network performance was utter garbage. How am I going to access my porn from the toilet, if loading one photo takes 30+ seconds?
I now have the ASUS File manager and apart from too large icons, it seems good enough, fast and stable. It won't be filled with ads or annoying reminders either, because there's a company behind that that 1. doesn't need the few extra bucks you can get from that
2. doesn't want to scare away (potential) customers.

*ES it didn't replace my homescreen, but the lockscreen, sorry

You have to install the right plugin for network shares.

Solid Explorer also has network share capabilities. If you don't like any of those find a modified copy of older ES before the JUST
>>56337411
Solid Explorer wants to 'make and manage phone calls' in order to generate a unique ID. Fuck that shit.

You're autistic
Op is a fucking retard
plenty of working options, he just wanna cry about ES here
>>56337506
>let it to generate access
>disable permissions right after
you fucking autist
>>56337551
Tried that. It closes right after launching if I disable permissions after the initial ask and accepting.
>>56337202
Use the old version, it works just fine.
>>56337634
which version was the last 'good' version?
>>56337588
Use total commander then, its free anyway
>>56337661
4.0.2.3
>>56337699
I can't see a way to access SMB shares. None of the free file managers seem to offer it that I can find. ES was easy peasy for that function.
>>56337736
Thanks. I will try and find it. How do I prevent it from auto updating?
>>56337756
Cmon son did you even read the thread? You gotta download a plug in for it
>>56337756
There's a version with different signature that won't update.
>>56337772
Sorted. Thanks. To everyone calling me an autist. Fuck you. Not everyone knows the ins and outs of their phone. Android should have a fucking decent file manager with LAN access built in.
