You use an i7 to run a clock?

In my desktop I have my i7-6700k @ 4.6ghz/1.3v.
Laptop is i7-2620m @ 2.6ghz.
i5 4690K @ 4.4 GHz

Muh brada
I got it at 1.3V
>>56333859
Nice clock you've got there op.
For gay men, animu and shitposting
>>56334980
Same. I bought this beaut binned and delidded it.
>>56335162
I havent delidded it. I dont see the need to it.
Max temp ive had was 83C
Runs idle at 30-40
Wish my case would fit a Noctua D15

At 1.3V mine doesn't even exceed 70c in Prime95 torture tests which are over 10c hotter than any other benchmark. I tried this at 5.1 GHz using 1.42V and ran IBT which ran at 80c. I use a H110 AIO cooler. It booted at 5.2GHz but I couldn't get it stable and besides core voltages above 1.4V are too scary.

This and check'd
Did someone say clock?
>>56335216
Well, my cooler is a H80i, i mostly run quiet and balanced fan modes from Corsair link, D250 doesnt support good coolers... i was thinking about custom looping this badboy, but since im a europoor its a nogo...

will prob. downclock it to stock since...its overkill for the moment

I remember when I had my AMD FX 8320 cpu, around 2 months ago, I thought it was the fastest thing in the world and Intel was super evil. Now I pray to the great schrine of blue.
>>56335010
3770 at 4,3 with 1,25v, it works well and I see no reason to upgrade desu

how many dicks did you have to suck?? your chip is even better than mine and i haven't seen anyone else with a lower voltage than mine at 4.5..
>>56335313
+100 MHz with a voltage reduction of .103
i don't see an issue here.
>>56335316
I don't know. I guess I just got really lucky.
I just raised the core clock without touching the volts.
>>56335357
adaptive voltage turned off?
>>56335380
I believe so.
>>56335413
fuk u then >:(
mildly jealous. i'm not huge on pushing voltages high and overclocking, i like having a slightly higher clock than stock & pushing voltage as low as i can. fast and cool chip = best
>>56335250
Should have waited for Zen tbqh familialamalam
>>56333859
5820K @ 4.2 GHz
can't get it to do 4.3 without raising the voltage above 1.3V :(
