Any ideas why my monitor is doing this? Only happens for about 5min after boot or wake from sleep. Here's a vid of what it does:

Is this for real? The GPU is brand new, should I RMA that bitch?
>>56333269
did you get the newest drivers when you got the new gpu?
If so then, do you have an old gpu you could use to test if this happens on both?
If not, it might just be a dying gpu. You might have shocked it or something while putting it in, i dunno.
The monitor is doing that because the gpu has to render the new windows and "aero" feature (or whatever win10 is called) and it is having a hard time keeping a steady display while also loading that.

Yes, it's a 1080, latest driver installed. No issues whatsoever in games, and it maxed out the firestrike benchmark
>>56333343
does it do it with any other windows being brought or is it just chrome?
>>56333355
any windows, and when scrolling. but only for 5 minutes max, and everything is fine. If I reboot or sleep/wake, it starts back up again
>>56333417
It might just be the gpu "warming" up and not under a heavy enough load to push through whatever is making that happen. So if you can put up with it, there shouldn't be too much of an issue, but I would recommend trying a RMA

I'm considering taking it out and plugging it back in, would "resetting" the gpu make any difference?
>>56333483
ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
it might?
Just make sure you're grounded as to not shock it

You might try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers first, just to be sure it's not a driver issue.
