What's /g/ fav android email client.
I always used gmails client. I hated Inbox by Gmail.
I tried Aquamail, though they have a paywall for more than 2 accounts, plus Aquamails GUI is crappy.
Currently liking Blue Mail.
Ya, I'm sure the botnet resistance will disapprove, but hey, I got nothing to hide.
Last sentence thrown in as a tri/g/ger. But seriously, your favorite android email client.
tutanota
K-9 is the only valid option
>>56326916
I'm going to get shit for this, but Outlook
k-9 mail
Thunderbird
>>56327504
>tfw we will never have Thunderbird for Android
What's wrong with the Gmail app
>>56326957
Why does it eat my battery even though I set to check for emails ourly, damn. It'd be the best for me if it wasn't for this problem.
>>56327640
non-free pig disgusting
>>56327640
Nothing
>>56327798
it's auto sync causing battery drain, set it to manual/push mail.
>>56327823
The backend is not free. So if you're using a Gmail account, what are you gaining again?
>>56327849
i'm not using a gmail account
>>56327846
lol, if you seriously have to turn off autosync to make the app useable, then you're a fucking moron for even suggesting such a piece of shit app.
>>56327798
consider turning off "push" for the account(s)
push keeps a connection open to the server(s) so it can receive mail as soon as it's available
checking every hour is "pull" or polling, where you instead connect momentarily and periodically
you don't need to disable automatic syncing entirely

>>56327968
Thanks, but I've tried it with no success.
With stock CM email client I can sync every 15 min and still consumes nothing, so I'll stick with it.
>>56328249
not sure what to say, i have mine polling every 30 minutes and it never even shows up on the battery screen
>>56326916
Protonmail
Inbox. Gmail if I'm doing something more advanced.
>>56328269
Could it be because I don't have Google's services?
>>56326916
Protonmail stock client.
The GUI is not the best, but it werks.
>>56328317
i don't either
>>56328279
>>56328327
Proton mail looks more like a service than a client.
Anyhow, they're Swiss, who I wouldn't trust with s herpes sore.
Nylas N1 was good, but they went full retard with pay-only
>>56328822
If you were a user before Nylas Pro was released, you probably got a coupon code for a free year.
>>56328296
Why use Inbox. Just a horrid design, plus you still use Gmail too. Just switch to a better client and dump Inbox and Gmail, they're garbage.
>>56326916
Cloudmagic is fuckin great
