Are the apps "verified" first before someone uploads them? Can anyone upload apps to Aptoide or can only trusted users upload them?

I would be scared of installing malware. But if this app store is safe it would be nice to switch to it and not have to use Google play services.

I don't use that many apps that have a pro version but one that I do is moneylover. When I look for it in aptoide it just says open or uninstall. Where is the pro version? Same with slide for reddit.
