Funny part is that someone from here actually made a patch to fix.
Worse, it wasn't accepted to be officially added.
Gnome is simple and inflexible, but quite pretty and polished, and also leading on Wayland support. Good for average users and people who want something that just werks.
KDE is bloated and buggy shit for Windows baby ducks, and it has 14 trillion different options in its settings GUI, perfect for those who don't know how to edit a config file.
