If you try to mount something listed in fstab manually and it fails systemd's logic then it doesn't try to mount it at all. For example, an inconsistent raid array with mount -o degraded. No solution but to remove the fstab entry. No good reason for the init daemon to be involved.

Systemd also kills user processes when they log out, regardless of the user preferences or process statuses (eg nohup, screen, etc). You have to configure it on both the user end and the systemd end to gain this functionality back. No good reason for the init daemon to be involved.

Syslog non-crash proof binary logging. No good reason for the init daemon to be involved.

There are other specific complaints like those above, but over all the biggest issue is their approach to integration. If your existing daemon isn't re-written to be compatible with systemd and it's interfaces, they replace it by writing a new one into systemd (which in turn breaks even more things directly and indirectly).

Zfs usage is occasional at the very best. FreeBSD has a fairly impressive Linux compat layer. Irreplaceable Windows exclusive software is rare. FreeBSD jails are fine. It's a good thing that most wifi, Bluetooth, sound, and graphics devices don't need proprietary drivers. Quantity is not quality when it comes to software. Windows installer are unaudited and the end user never gives a shit. Why use qBittorrent when you have rutorrent or Transmission, both of which work on FreeBSD? Virtualbox works as far as I know, but virtualization encourages bad practice. bhyve has experimental, situational PCI passthrough, just like Linux. See my previous point about ports. Docker does nothing but encourage awful practice. Wayland is not make or break software by any stretch of the imagination. NetworkManager is not the do-all-end-all.

Just about everything in that screen cap is wrong. I'm not even arguing for or against BSD, I'm just laughing at how much of a fucking retard you look like.
