Any tips on making Nautilus more usable? Are there any plugins or something.. When searching in a folder, it searches my entire computer and list them for me like it's a retarded child.. Before I install something else I would love if I just could make the program act proper.

cd path/to/dir
ls | grep file_I_want

OK... How do I change the default file manager from Nautilus to Nemo?
>>56295030
xdg-mime default nemo.desktop inode/directory application/x-gnome-saved-search
You still need to keep Nautilus around to render the icons on your desktop. If you let nemo do it your desktop will look odd
