I find Apple more disgusting now but that's primarily because of how much they are fucking up the music industry by treating it like the video game one with their exclusives bullshit but most of /g/'s hatred goes beyond that.

At any rate, any reason to hate apple is probably valid.

For instance, I use Windows, have an iPhone, and use OS X occasionally because unlike the fucking cucks on this board who live in their moms basement who actually give a shit about the "government spying on them" or something like they can stop it. Their userbase is annoying, ignorant and entitled.

We don't like Apple because they overcharge for sub par products, and value form over function.
We don't like windows because of how many limitations it has compared to Linux alternatives.
Both apple products/operating systems and windows are also closed source and have glaring privacy issues such as forced telemetry.

At least for Windows most people here will recognize the use of it for certain tasks (games, CAD software, etc), but there is literally no reason to ever go with an apple product. The alternative will always be better and cheaper.

Like I mentioned, it depends on what you use your computer for. I play a lot of games, so for me dual booting windows and Linux is the best option. With this setup I can use Linux for normal use, and I want to play something or use Photoshop I boot into Windows.

Because it's cool to hate on the mainstream and hip to use niche products instead.
