First question: why the hell do 30" dell cost so fucking much, while their 27" counterparts is only half that much?
Second: Do you recommend TN 30" monitors? IPS is a luxury I can do without. I just want more screen space for programming and multitasking, and dual monitoring isn't cutting it.
I also have a 21" IPS screen already, so if I need some graphic related task, it'll do it.
Get a 40" 4k MVA panel or TN panel if you dont care about colors and just want more screen space.

This one seems a decent deal at the moment, good reviews, and HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 so you can stream 4k video from amazon and eventually netflix/HBO/hulu/etc

I don't really care much about streaming anything. I just want a good programming screen.

the point is it has the ability to do so.
It also means it can do 4k60hz over HDMI or displayport
You can get slightly cheaper by going for a chink/korean branded panel, but their quality control likely isnt as good.

Yeah I'm not touching chinese shit again after a certain something happened to the last monitor of that origin.
This is going used for $500

2560x1600 instead of 3840x2160. And only $100 less?
Fuck that, i'd get a 40" 4k over that if all you care about is programming space
