Does anybody experienced ground loop and noise with an Asrock z97e et similia?
>>
>>56288048
using the solo I assume?

I experienced humming and crackling with the 2i4 (1st gen) and a z87a, somehow the 2i4 was picking up whacky vibes from the two monitors, I fixed it by elevating the monitors, now there's a 2 cm oak plank between them, haven't had a problem since
>>
>>56288111
between the two monitors and the interface***

why not just buy one of these then?
>>
>>56288111
>>56288134
Yes, sadly the massive m3-8 aren't easy to move on my little desk
>>56288134
I just rma'd it because it was giving me too many problems.
Looking forward to Roland UA22, it has balanced outputs, so i shouldn't need that ground loop isolator right?
>>
>he fell for the usb soundcard meme
>>
>>56288609
I tried direct rca - aux, the noise is even worse
When playing it's like 30 db Constant screeching

Shameful bump
>>
>>56289737
get a 2i2, it has balanced outputs, im not shilling, im just familiar with the brand

plus im fairly certain youre paying a premium for roland, though i guess theyre good
>>
>>56289835
Ua22 and 2i2 cost the same
But Roland has also midi interface which can be useful to me
Actually i don:t really care about the features, i just want something that works
>>
>>56289929
Behringer is even cheaper.
>>
>>56289941
>something that works
>behringer

I don't care about the cost, but about the quality
I use 600€ speakers, i want an audio interface that can take the best out of them
>>
>>56290102
doesn't really matter anyway with that kind of placement and bare walls
>>
That sapphire range is shite, i don't know why people recommend them.
>>
love this retarded /g/tier faggot threads where nobody knows jack nigger shit about electrical engineering

infact, 99% of PC autists don't even know how to operate a basic multimeter
its fucking hilarious how stupid some niggers are

why aren't you on welfare yet?
>>
>>56290215
Yes i don't know fucking shit about eletronics, that's why i study law. But i care about music, and i'm unable to use my fucking speakers due to some heavy noise when using an usb audio interface, or rca to 3.5"
Maybe you could tell me what is wrong
>>
>>56289951

hi, i'm here to inform you that you haven't got the slightest clue as to what the fuck you're talking about.

behringer makes great hardware
>>
>>56290247

you don't even know what an interlocutory appeal is.
i can drill you even deeper if you really want to go there

do you really want to take it further and be made into more of a fool?
>>

dear music group employee,
please leave

faget
>>
>>56290408

yeah, ok
>>
>>56290102
Get a RME then
>>
>>56288134
NEVER buy those coil type hum removers. They will kill all your bass frequencies. I tried a few before giving up and buying a Hum Destroyer from Behringer for £20. I never looked back.

why the fuck are you buying some cheap focusrite usb shit then?
>>
>>56290102

Nice case, anon.
>>
>>56290724
Suggest me what i should by then
>>56290894
Thanks, inwin 901 is surely beautiful
>>56290554
They say it cuts low frequencies, i'd prefer to avoid something like that

>I don't care about the cost

uhh. If you like the pro gear, the German company RME is the top, or close to it.
http://www.rme-audio.de/en/products/babyface_pro.php

If you only care about playback, consider Asus Xonar Essence One or another top-tier DAC.

>>
>>56291729
I did a little research, some user said so. Do you have it? It isn't true?
>>56291758
Yeah i don't care """that much""" about the cost, but i'd like not spend on the dac the same money i spent for the speakers
Something around 200 or less is what i'm looking for
But likely i'll take the Roland UA22, one of my purposes is also recording
>>
>>56291803
I didn't really read what your hum problem was but another option is a USB isolator. It's true science and you can get one for <$100.
>>
>>56290215
No one cares when you refuse to simply give the information you supposedly know
>>
Ooooorrrrrrrr you can buy an dac/preamp that has an external power supply

Had a solo, it was extremely noisy. Called the shop, they asked if I am using the USB cable it had in the package, I said yes, then they told me to switch it to another one, because that one tends to be faulty and It worked.
>>
>>56292863
another reason to rma eheh
>>56292747
yes, but god i can't find dac with balanced outputs, and Roland duo capture ex has, so i'm gonna buy that. Also mic in is useful for me
>>56291851
i don't know, that noise appears only when using the m3-8, who work fine in other environments. Using a double rca to aux cable and my phone i could stream music without any problem, linking the aux cable to the pc resulted in unbearable noise. Maybe i just need balanced shit because those speakers are really sensitible to interferences and onboard audio sucks dicks.
With the scarlett solo there was the same kind of noise btw
>>
>>56289835
my Sister has a 2i2. On instrument mode, the volume needs to be 0 in order for my bass and guitars to not clip it. I'm not an expert on this kind of thing, but I'd figure that this is a problem.
>>
>>56294547
0? as in 0dB? Sounds okay to me. Different preamps have different levels of amplification, and pickups vary too.
>>
>>56294576
When the knob is set to the minimum position.

I tried a Duncan JB and the pickups that come with a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass. Neither are extremely high output. I'd estimate my new guitar that has EMG 808s would be much worse.
>>
>>56294547
Aargh jewed by focusrite
Well i guess i learned something
