What does /g/ think of Iron browser? I want to try chrome without the google botnet, and this seems like a good solution.
Any issues I should be aware of?

Swapping google's botnet for another is an legit option.
How is this compared to chromium?

You're better off with Irdium.

Isn't Vivaldi the best chromium fork by now?
>>56282604
>fork
It's literally a skin on top of Chromium
>>56282604
Opera is the comfiest

Yeah, it looks too much like a 3D LXDE/Lubuntu logo. And it's generally shit. Too complicated-
oh shit I thought you asked about the logo, nvm. I'm still making this post though. I'm drunk.

The guy behind it is less trustworthy than Comodo. You'd really be better off with Iridium or UnGoogled Chromium.

Its worth the read.
TL;DR: not worth it, you'll have an older Chromium code base that still phones Google. Look for ungoogled-chromium if you want a Chromium-based browser.

Why should I use Iridium over Chromium?

Nazi botnet

Iridium and Opera are much better.
