Came across a 2006 Core Duo MBP I'm planning to sell. Great cosmetic condition but It's pretty low spec, 1GB RAM and 80GB HDD. I won't any trouble selling it for $100, as is. Do you think I could get $150-$200 out of it by maxing out the RAM(2GB) and installing a small 120GB SSD?

Sell it for $1500, appletards literally can't tell the difference.

$150 might be plausible given the apple logo markup if you upgrade it a bit, but it's a bit of a shitbox, and despite what projecting consumertards like >>56280570 will tell you, yes, they will be able to tell the difference for the most part
On a related note to OPs post I've been looking at older second hand laptops lately and macs are sold for 5x what they should be even when they're ancient.
This is insane to me.
>This is a 2008 garbage macbook
>300 bux please

These videos are always hilarious because they obviously had to go through hundreds of people to get to the ones who they can make fun of, yet people use it to make points like you.

Why are you so mad you got outed on national TV?

What a weak attempt at deflection.

Why is /v/ so obsessed with posting weak-ass bait in every macshit thread? Is it because you're too dumb to shitpost about actual technology so you dwell on this banal babby-tier topic? Or because you for some reason secretly aspire to own a Mac, and try your "hardest" (not very hard at all desu) to shit all over them in order to feel better about not attaining that goal for whatever reason?

I wouldn't put any money into it but if you've got spare parts laying around, go for it. I doubt it would be profitable to put any money into it.
