>feeling excited, first smartphone I didn't buy secondhand (am poorfag)
>use it for 2 years, start feeling the urge to upgrade
>girlfriends brother is selling his g3
1440p screen, better camera, better battery life, better SoC, why not.

>buy it for 150 aud, came with wireless charger and everything included
>3 months later, plug it into charger, charger explodes, phone still seemingly works
>battery now drains fast, only getting 8 hours standby time. Phone is constantly warm when on

>Go back to Nexus 5 for a few weeks
>enjoying that Nexus experience again
>redmi note 3 pro gets very popular on g
>decide to buy the redmi 3 pro instead because 5 inches feels nicer in the hand

>SoT goes from 3.5 hours to 13 hours
>more ram, better multitasking
>so happy
>2 months later, notice battery life isn't as good
>check battery stats, getting 6 hours SoT now
>thinking its a rogue app, I factory reset
>didn't help.
>check aliexpress and the seller is gone and the store is closed

If battery life continues to get worse, I'll be forced back to my nexus 5.
Am I doomed to use that Nexus for the rest of my life?
