Elaborate

Pro version when?
>>56256674
Mediatek has really shaped up with their 64 bit SOCs
I have a Redmi Note 2 and it's got a mediatek chip that's still excellent
>>56256674
Mediatek is like AMD, really powerful processors hardware wise, but very bad optimisation on the software/driver side of things.
>>56257191
Helio X20 is different. Instead of just adding more cores, they've added more clusters
>>56256992
If this helio x20 is as good as they say, i doubt there will be a snapdragon version..
>>56257445
Nah, snapdragon has the budget to pay companies to use their SoC. They also have the money to make a ton of new processors every year, while Mediatek usually only makes one per year which BTFOs most of the other competition.
Mediatek is really bad processors for many roms but they have good performance

Snapdragon is not a company
,
>>56257002
What are they like power consumption wise?
>>56256674
yes mediatek is still garbage
>>56257865
What's Qualcomm?
ITT Butthurt lagdragon user
ARM Mali-T880 MP4
is nothing compared to
Adreno 530 510MHz
plus a lot of other under the hood stuff..
dont judge only from the processor speed
I'm happy with my Mediatek SOC, but no nfc unfortunately.
The redmeme 3s has a snapdragon, probably mostly identical other than being half an inch smaller

No
No
for example x10 is in every aspect better than 801 and x10 phones are cheaper.
You can say x10 is a bad 810.
