To answer your question, I'm just gonna guess that they are competing for prices. If you want to pull the trigger and buy the GPU, you could since amazon has a good return policy for anything that comes broken. Heck, if I needed a cheap GPU I probably would've bought it if AMD wasn't such a joke.
