is windows 10 worth it over 7, g?
I'm doing a clean install and i'm wondering whether i should upgrade to 10 or stick with 7

No Win10 isn't worth it. Install Win7x64. If you have Skylake then you might have to use Win10 due to how Intel is a shit company. Most motherboard manufacturers have a bios setting and a tool to install Windows 7 though. If you don't want Windows install Manjaro.

If you have a touch-enabled screen on your device, whatever it is, go with Windows 10.
If you don't stick with Windows 7.
This is the only real advantage to 10 over 7 since it's more optimized for touch-screen.
